  • Another update

These frickin’ HTML Tables are driving me batty. I’m going to bed.

  • Rennaissance Festival!

We just got back from the Renaissance Festival and I must say it was an eye opener. Here is a list of some of the things I learned about “The Renaissance Era”

    1. Lots of men wore tights
    2. Lots of unattractive, rotund (dead link) women wore ill-fitting clothing.
    3. I’m glad my family didn’t live during this time.
    4. I am intrigued by sword fighting.
    5. Everyone walked around with a mug (dead link). Just in case, I guess.
    6. I like to throw axes and knives.
    7. Turkey Legges are good for your health.
    8. I need a chain mail hood.

  • Satellite images

I know Microsoft’s Terra Server has been around for a long time, I’ve just never used it. Now that I’ve fooled around with it, I’ve found a picture of our condo development, a picture of the buildings the EE department is in, my parent’s home, and my wife’s parent’s home. Disregard the red push-pin markers. I couldn’t get them to reposition, so the only one that is right is the one of the University. The majority of the pictures here are from 1994. The picture of Ohio State has two buildings that were torn down since I’ve been there and a whole set of buildings are missing that have since been built. That’s pretty cool stuff.

  • School Update

School is back is session, full force. It’s wierd to think this is my last quarter, barring any natural disasters (dead link). I’m been working my tail off, I really want to finish strong. Still no job prospects out there, but I’m not too desperate just yet. Something good will come up. Now that I am pretty satisfied with the layout of my page, I’m going to start adding other pages as necessary. I’m also toying with Paint Shop Pro, trying to get a nice looking logo and some other stuff. I’m no artist (pronounced ar’TEECE’te) but I’m really enjoying PSP.

  • Four wheeling

Got back from the in-laws, had a good weekend with the family. It was nice to see people we only get to see a couple times of year. It’s hard to jam a whole year into a few days of fun but we tried nonetheless. Had some fun doing some fourwheeling! Can’t beat that.

Our Buckeyes gave us quite a scare! I saw that tip go over the middle in the end-zone and all I could do was hold my breath. Phew, that was a close one. I figured we would fall a spot in the rankings but so far the ESPN/USA Today poll (not that I give that poll much creedence) still has us at #6. I love those buckeyes. Can’t wait to have Clarett back. Now that I look at it, the AP Poll feels the same way.
