So I just read that the outstanding linebacker from Air Force, Anthony Schlegel, just transferred to Ohio State. While he does have to sit out this year he is going to be a big impact player for the Buckeyes. With him and D’Andrea at linebackers, look out!

Corinne’s doctors appointment
Today was Corinne’s 2 month appointment, and any parent knows what that means: shots! Our poor baby survived the first round of vaccinations with a stiff upper lip. Sure, she cried, but she’s doing good now. I think she’s still a little sore and she whimpers every now and then, but for the most part she is doing okay. It was no fun watching the nurse stick my pride and joy with a needle. She is doing fine otherwise.
Now that we are starting to get into a groove during the day, I’ll have some time to dedicate to updating this site, including a seperate section for pictures. I also still want to write a bit about my feelings of what’s happening in the world, in sports, and my search for employment. So there will be changes going on over the next few weeks here.
And since I haven’t mentioned the 2002 NCAA National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes lately, I give you this link proving once and for all that yes, there was a pass interference on the fourth down play in the first overtime of the Fiesta Bowl. Now all the crybaby-bedwetter Hurricane fans have no legs to stand on. (Not that they did in the first place). Boy that makes me feel good. I can’t wait for the Spring game. August is only four months away!!

Quick update
I haven’t posted anything lately, not because I don’t have any time, but there just isn’t a whole lot to post right now. Corinne turned two months yesterday, so we’ll have to get her monthly pose next to her bunny soon, so those pictures will be up soon. Last weekend was her first professional sporting event, the season opener for the Columbus Crew. It was also her first concert, since Everclear (a favorite band of mine, no less) played at halftime of the Crew game. They only played 2 songs, but it was cool nonetheless. It was freezing at the game, but I know Corinne wasn’t cold. She was in a long-sleeve onesie, pants and a long sleeve shirt, her fleece pajamas, and was snuggled up next to her mom underneath her dad’s big pull-over winter coat. She also had on two hats. That was a sight to see. Unfortunately I didn’t get in on film. Oh well, we’ll have other opportunities.
