  • Corinne is 5 months old!

Ok, I am a few days late with these but they are some good ones. We are proud of our little cutie. Not only is she five months old, she’s also getting her first tooth! It doesn’t seem to bother her too much, she cries a little bit, we’ve heard that it could be a lot worse. A little crying is no problem with us. She also likes to suck on her thumb and as you can see in the picture below, if she can’t find her thumb, anything of comparable size will do!

  • Just so you know

CBS.SportsLine.com – Notes: Months later, ‘Canes interference call looks right: “Earlier this year Big 12 commissioner Kevin Weiberg said game films had been reviewed and that, in fact, Porter had made the right call. The Big Ten supervisor of officials, who is used by the NCAA to assign officials for bowl games, concurred this week. “

Even though all of us here in Buckeyeland knew he was right, hopefully this will shut up the Miami fans once and for all.

  • Look, ma, no wires!

This is my first post, completely wireless, thanks to my graduation present from my parents. Thanks mom and dad!!

  • Oh, by the way

Remember, that news is coming from the Times. Can they even be trusted anymore?

  • Maurice Clarett…

As I’m sure many of you have already heard, there was an article in the NY Times about Maurice Clarett getting special attention because he was an athlete. I don’t think there’s a college with an elite sports program that doesn’t have issues like this. There is also some discussion about Clarett and some possible NCAA rule infraction dealing with something going on with him and LeBron. The link is to the article but you have to register with the NYTimes to read it. (it’s free, they just ask for an email address).

Ohio State to Examine Special Help for Clarett: “Geiger told the newspaper that he did not think the N.C.A.A.’s investigation would lead to Clarett’s losing part of his eligibility for the upcoming season, but added: ‘That doesn’t mean it won’t change. As of now, he’s fine.’ “

Related to this story is that supposedly the teaching assistant who went to the Times is in trouble for not going through the proper channels at the university. It has also been stated the she’s been in an out of mental institutions in the past, for whatever that’s worth.

In the end, I think this will blow over and not leave a scratch on the Buckeye’s rep.
