They are three weeks late, but here are Corinne’s four month pictures, along with a couple graduation pictures, and a family portrait, too.

Commencement

I am posting this a couple days after the fact but graduation was nice. I was not looking forward to the commencement speech since Christopher Reeves isn’t my favorite person but he did a really nice job. I feel bad for hoping for the worse. He left his liberal tendencies at the gate and was even touting morality.

Once I figure out how I’m gonna get more space I’ll post graduation pictures and the new four month pictures of Corinne. Sit tight, I should have things figured out soon.

I have successfully defended my thesis!! It is a great feeling to be done. The defense was definitely tough, my committee didn’t pull any punches and socked it to me good a couple of times. I struggled with a couple of their questions but I was able to answer most of them. I’m just glad that’s over. Now all that is left is to finalize my thesis paper and submit it before March 28th. I don’t think that will be a problem.

To celebrate my success, here are some more Corinne pictures. I realized that there are a lot of pictures on this first page, causing long download times for people who have slower connections, so I will definitely need to get a different section for the pictures. That will be forthcoming.

Thesis Defense

T-minus ten hours and counting. Tomorrow I defend my thesis at 9:30 am, EST. I’m starting to get over the nervousness and stress, but I’m sure my blood pressure will be high until this time tomorrow. I am confident things are going to be good and I will kick some serious butt. I’m off to bed, the earliest I’ve been to bed in months.

There is a moment in a paper’s life that you are writing when you finally stop typing and you print it out. I am getting ready to print out my Thesis for the first time. I’m doing this to take a step away from writing to see what things are starting to look like. This gives me a chance to match up a lot of my references, include new figures and graphs, and add content as I see fit. Very exciting!

Made some good progress today, got most of my bibliography in order. I still have probably another 30 or so to enter but I got a big chunk done today. No stopping me now! I’m on fire!
