  • They’ll take plastic

I give the Salvation Army two years before they have credit card machines at their collections sites outside of Walmarts and Kmarts across America. It would be a lot easier to have the little swiper machine right there, you could swipe your card and pick how much you wanted to donate. It would be like what we saw in Barcelona at the Sagrada Familia: credit card machines for donations. The temple is forever under construction, so they take donations to help it along the way. No need for a collection plate or that bag the pass around, just swipe the card and voila, instant sacrifice.

So I give ’em two years. We’ll see.

  • New site layout

Well, the Christmas season is in full swing now, hence the new colors and stuff.

  • Internet funny stuff

This is disturbing on many different levels. Make sure your speakers are on.

  • eBay time!

I’ve been listing a lot of stuff on eBay lately, but now I’ve got a bunch of stuff listed for my friend Jeremiah. Go here to check out all the sweet stuff I’ve listed. That Playstation (dead link) package would make a sweet Christmas present! Got a paintball fan in your life? I’ve got not one (dead link) but two (dead link) fantastic listings!

  • School update

Well, after a short email discussion with my advisor, we have pushed my deadline into January of next year. While I really wanted to finish this quarter, it has really taken a burden of my shoulders. Even though I would have tried my darndest to get my paper done by Friday, it would have been subpar work, and that isn’t acceptable. I will still keep updates here, it just won’t be at such a frantic pace.

For now I need to finish my paper for my class, EE835.02, Special Topics in Nanostructure Devices. I’m writing about ways to process organic LEDs. Exciting, right?
